What, a Panerai with a blue bezel? This watch certainly resembles a dive watch more than some of its more classic models. If you’re looking for a professional grade chronograph diver, Panerai’s Submersible Chrono Guillame Néry Edition might be worth a look.
Inside the 47mm brushed titanium case is the in-house automatic movement P.9100 calibre with a 3-day power reserve. The watch features a flyback chronograph function (one less push of the pushers to restart the chronograph), blue ceramic unidirectional bezel, 300 meters of water resistance, and a sapphire crystal. The white and blue lumed indices are legible against the contrasting grey background, and the case back is engraved with the signature, outlined image, and record depth of freediving champion Guillame Néry.
It’s a stunning, durable diver fit for breaking world records. Needless to say, it’s an eye-catching timepiece above sea level as well.
