The latest and greatest from Amalgam Collection is a limited edition 1:4 scale model of Oracle Red Bull Racing’s RB18 F1 race car from the 2022 season. More specifically, the RB18 race car was driven by Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez in the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix at Circuit Zandvoort on the 4th of September 2022.
This special edition Amalgam Collection scale model is limited to 18 units per driver. As usual, the quality is up to the highest standard requiring a painstaking process involving over 4,500 development hours and 450 hours to build each model. Every piece is meticulously crafted using castings, photo-etching, and CNC-machined metal components. References for the model come from original CAD data and paint codes supplied by Oracle Red Bull Racing. Furthermore, the racing team’s design and engineering department approve the model’s accuracy.
If you haven’t kept up with the latest from F1, the RB18 earned 17 wins, 8 pole positions, 8 fastest laps, and 11 podiums for a total of 759 points earning Oracle Red Bull Racing the World Driver’s Championship and World Constructors Championship for the 2022 F1 season.
