Bursting onto the scene as the Swiss watchmaker’s third significant update of the year is the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds Collection. This is a renewal of the immensely beloved Seamaster Aqua Terra line and features a fresh Small Seconds sub-dial. This update includes nineteen various models with nine new 41mm options and ten new 38mm editions. The array includes a wide assortment of case materials and dial colors, which of course join an already expansive offering within the Aqua Terra line.
The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds features everything from red leather to steel bracelet straps and even includes some models with diamond hour markers. Of course, the most notable feature of the new line is the Small Seconds sundial which gives the entire collection an exciting new visual dimension. The new Omega line also features four movements driving the small second’s watches. These are all tested at the highest industry level and include the Omega’s co-axial Master Chronometer 8802 for the sportier 38mm. The 41mm watches are powered by the 8916 Chronometer. The gold watches in the line feature either 8803 or 8917 Chronometers. Each is distinguished by an 18K Sedna gold balance bridge and rotor. Finally, as a signature nod to the Aqua Terra line, each watch within the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Small Seconds series has a simple polished, unidirectional bezel for its 150m water-resistant cases.
