The new Norse Projects ‘On Norther Isles’ honors the historic colony of Shetland, located 170 km from Scotland. Home to the Vikings, this area served as the main highway for trade between Greenland, Denmark, and the Northern countries. This area represents tradition formed by the fishermen who inhabited the coastal cliff settlements. With longtime lambswool supplier Harley’s, the Norse Projects ‘On Norther Isles’ embodies the high-quality, warm, and stylish clothing that encompasses the tubular kitting technique used in the Birnir style found in this area.
The first in the collection is the exclusive Birnir Brushed Lambswool sweater. Simple yet dignified, this crew neck sweater comes in several colors. Made of 100% Scottish lambswool, this sweater is warm, comfortable, and stylish. The sweater is priced at $270.
Next in the lineup is the Birnir Fairisle sweater, which features the trademark Faire Isle pattern around the neck. Like the Brushed Lambswool sweater, the Fairisle sweater comes in various colors. The sweater is made of 100% lambswool and has a regular fit compared to the slim fit of the Norse Projects Brushed Lambswool sweater. The price for the Fairisle sweater is $325.
Last in the lineup is a beautiful, warm beanie hat. Not yet released, but coming soon, this hat is also made of 100% lambswool and is knitted in Scotland. This winter hat promises to be comfortable, durable, and warm and is available in various colors, including blue, yellow, green, oatmeal, and navy.
