Nomos, the well-known German watchmaker, just came out with a new release: the Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue timepiece, which features a cool blue sunburst-finished dial that is sleek and understated. This new Nomos is a watch that will look as good at the office as it will when the person wearing it is sailing with friends on the weekend. With a diameter of 42mm, the bipartite stainless steel case is 10.2mm thick. The hour numerals and indexes, just like the rhodium-plated hour and minute hands, are coated with a Super-LumiNova inlay in white that emits a blue glow in the dark. The blue dial is completed by a snailed small seconds counter and the large date aperture at 3 o’clock. “Neomatik” and “1000ft” are inscribed in gold on the face to add a touch of color.
The Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 42 Date Blue is sporty, perfect for swimming and diving given its water resistance of up to 30 atm. Visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, the self-winding DUW 6101 Calibre features a bidirectional, rapidly adjustable date and is equipped with a highly efficient bidirectional winding rotor. Custom-made for the Nomos Club Sport Neomatik 42 is the brand’s new three-link polished stainless steel bracelet (lug width is 20 mm), which is perfectly integrated with the case and secured to the wrist by a double folding safety clasp.
