Based in Nordhorn, Germany, the innovative fitness equipment company NOHrD uses wood sourced from renewable German forests to craft everything from stationary bikes to water-resistance rowing machines. NOHrD’s latest release is a stylish version of the classic cable exercise machine.
A longtime stable of gyms and physical therapy centers, cable machines allow you to work out multiple muscle groups using smooth resistance. Designed to look even better than it works, the curved wooden body of the NOHrD SlimBeam Cable Machine is a slender 40 centimeters in width and 215 centimeters in height. Fixed at 10 centimeters from the wall, the SlimBeam will protrude just 20 centimeters into the room. You can adjust the weight of resistance from 0 to 70 kilograms in 5-kilogram increments with 14 stacking weight plates that are entirely hidden in the interior of the SlimBeam’s wood body encasement.
