Bronze dive watches usually make patina the whole performance. This Sector II uses the changing metal as a frame for something less expected: a transparent sapphire dial.

Created by Nodus with Holme & Hadfield, the Sector II Dive Holme & Hadfield Edition is limited to 75 pieces. Its indices, minute track, and logos appear to float above the movement because they are applied directly to sapphire. A raw CuAl5 bronze bezel and crown will darken differently with each owner, while the 316L stainless-steel case preserves structural consistency.

The proportions remain practical: a 38mm case, 40mm bezel, 11.9mm thickness, and 47mm lug-to-lug span. A box sapphire crystal carries blue anti-reflective treatment underneath, and a 60-click unidirectional bezel uses a matte DLC-coated steel insert. Grade A BGW9 lume, 100 meters of water resistance, and a quick-release bracelet with Nodus’s NEM clasp support daily wear. Inside, the no-date TMI NH38 automatic movement offers 41 hours of reserve and is regulated to within plus or minus 10 seconds per day. Assembly takes place in Los Angeles.
The watch costs $650. VIP access opens August 27 at noon Eastern, followed by the public release on August 28 at noon Eastern through Holme & Hadfield.
