Collective Horology, based in Southern California, is known for specializing in independent watch brands, and this collaboration with Montblanc adds to its impressive portfolio of partnerships with renowned watchmakers. The Montblanc 1858 Minerva Monopusher Chronograph “Blue Arrow” P.05 is a stunning variation of the 1858 Minerva Monopusher Chronograph, inspired by a Minerva stopwatch with a white dial discovered by the Collective Horology team. The timepiece boasts a distinctive color scheme with a white dial, cream sub-dials, bright blue telemeter and tachymeter scales, and a secondary Minerva logo. The black textile strap pays homage to stopwatch cords, while the 42mm stainless steel case features an 18K white gold reeded bezel and a unique “blue arrow” under the crystal for timing purposes.
At the heart of this watch lies the caliber MB M13.21, a manual chronograph movement with a 60-hour power reserve. Montblanc’s dedication to preserving Minerva’s heritage is evident in this in-house built movement, with meticulous finishing and a “devil’s tail” lateral clutch showcasing their expertise in crafting intricate internal angles.
The Collective Minerva Monopusher is set to be delivered in December of this year, exclusively through Collective Horology’s website, priced at $34,500. This collaboration between Montblanc and Collective Horology is a testament to the artistry and craftsmanship of independent watchmaking, offering a unique and limited-edition timepiece for discerning collectors. Don’t miss the opportunity to own a piece of horological history.
