Mercedes has announced a special edition for their Maybach S 650. Only 15 are being built and strictly for the U.S. market. It is called the 2020 Mercedes Maybach S 650 Night Edition. Mercedes even went as far as to say that their Maybach is a direct rival to the Rolls Royce Ghost and Bentley Flying Spur. They mentioned both carmakers by name, which is the automotive equivalent of “throwing shade” or pulling out a white dueling glove. So what does a Maybach owner get for their $242,950 Night Edition?
For starters the Night Edition comes in Obsidian Black to look like an American Express black card on wheels. Inside, the Night Edition’s interior is covered in Nappa leather upholstery with calf rests for rear passengers. Night Edition badges dress the Maybach’s leather floor and trunk mats with porcelain edges. This exclusive badge can also be found on the front fenders and throughout the interior. The engine will be the Mercedes 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo making 621 horsepower and 738 pounds feet of torque. This big luxury flagship sedan can hit 60 miles per hour in 4.6 seconds. Standard features include semi-active air suspension, ambient lighting with 64 color options, and a Burmester high end 3D surround sound system. The 2020 Maybach S 650 Night Editions are arriving at Mercedes dealerships as we speak.
