A relative newcomer to the high-end headphone market, New York City based Master & Dynamic has been wowing critics and audiophiles with its design and sound quality. Their near audiophile quality headphones, such as the MH40, are well balanced and offers a dynamic range, quickly making it a competitive product in the $400 range of high end headphones.
Moving into wireless headphones as well, the Master & Dynamic MW60 still offers high quality design with great sound quality that should be able to hold it’s own against the very best, such as the Beats Studio Wireless, which currently holds the heavyweight champion title when it comes to wireless headsets. In terms of build quality and materials, the Master & Dynamic MW60 may have the upper hand as the headphone is made with the finest materials.
We’ll see whether Master & Dynamic will be able to overcome the brand cachet attached to establish marks like Beats, but we’re expecting the MW60 to punch above its weight class as well.
