Lumina recently unveiled the Lumina Desk, a sleek and modern workspace for remote workers and other power users. Lumina’s smart desk is a fully-powered adjustable sit-stand desk with a display that is positioned between the user’s monitor or laptop, keyboard, and mouse This smart desk features a non-touchscreen interface controlled through the user’s computer, allowing app setup for an embedded display. The concept provides space to add a Google Calendar, LinkedIn, or Twitter feed, receive calls, or chat notifications. Not only that, but users can add everything from task lists to social feeds, health and wellness apps, or create custom apps.
Lumina says that users can efficiently perform quick interactions using the keyboard, mouse, or custom hotkeys and see the results through the desk’s anti-glare glass. This smart desk even offers a standing schedules mode, with programmable standing schedules to promote optimal health. The company says the Lumina Desk is the perfect setup for day traders, software engineers, UI Designers, and sales professionals. The Lumina Desk has a 60Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits. Lumina Desk also provides six USB-C ports and power from the tabletop, with two 20 x 20 Qi wireless charging pads with an output of 100W.
