The LEGO Group announced its most recent addition to its vintage car collection on July 12, 2022, the LEGO Chevrolet Camaro Z28. This new 1,458-piece set recreates one of the most iconic muscle cars from the late 60s. Harlan Charles, the Chevrolet Camaro product marketing manager, says automotive and LEGO fans will surely get a thrill from this set featuring the 1969 Camaro Z28. The LEGO Chevrolet Camaro Z28 set boasts functional elements like a working steering wheel and doors that open and close. Not to mention a V8 engine with lifelike details. LEGO says builders can customize the car in gloss black with racing stripes in red, gray, or white. Once built, it measures 14-inches long, 5.5-inches wide, and 3.5-inches tall.
Plus, automotive fans can choose to reproduce the LEGO Chevrolet Camaro Z28 as a hard top or a convertible with classic or hideaway headlights. Accessories include furry dice and a choice of 2 license plates. The LEGO Group has a mission to inspire tomorrow’s builders with LEGO bricks that allow all ages of fans to discover the power of imagination.
