Bluetooth speakers have continued to rise in popularity in recent years, particularly as the surrounding technology has improved to deliver higher-quality sound in more compact designs. Founded by Paul Wilbur Klipsch, the American pioneer of audio equipment who revolutionized how we listen to music, the Klipsch Music City Series represents the latest development in cutting-edge Bluetooth technology for discerning audiophiles.
The new range features three Bluetooth speakers to choose from, each taking its name from some of the most vibrant American cities renowned for its live music scene. The smallest model is the Austin portable Bluetooth speaker, which incorporates a diminutive but nevertheless crisp and clear 1.5″ full-range driver that powers its impressive output. This driver is complemented by dual passive radiators for a resonating bass that can be fine-tuned via the app’s EQ settings.
The mid-range entry in Klipsch Music City Series takes its name from Nashville, home to America’s thriving country music scene. Approximately twice the size of the Austin, this speaker packs a punch with its dual 2.25″ full-range drivers, replicating the scale and presence of a live show with crisp treble and sharp mid-range audio. It offers the same superior connectivity as the Austin, with wireless technology for a strong connection to your streaming platform of choice.
The Klipsch Music City Series is rounded out with the largest model in the range, the Detroit, which captures the disparate genres the city is known for including techno and soul. It’s an outstanding Bluetooth speaker suited to everything from impromptu parties to family days out on the beach. Starting at just $99, the speakers can be purchased on the Klipsch website.
