A selection of lightweight sporty Alfa Romeos from the 1950s and 1960s are also up for auction, including a stunningly maintained Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, a car rich in period Italian racing history. The Ken Roath Collection of Classic Sports Cars at the Amelia Island Auctions will also offer a Ferrari 250 Europa GT, produced in 1955 and estimated to fetch between $1,750,000 and $2,250,000.
This headlining lot, presented in Pininfarina coachwork, earns its prestige through a celebrated history, raced by motoring icons such as Olivier Gendebien and Léon Dernier.
