Italdesign 2017 Geneva Supercar

Italdesign reveals its first series production supercar that will be limited to just 5 examples.

For car enthusiasts in the know, Giorgetto Giugiaro is a legend among automotive designers. Founded by the legendary Italian designer, Italdesign has been responsible for penning numerous vehicles that have become iconic, including the DeLorean DMC-12. Now with the backing of Lamborghini and Audi, the company has introduced their first supercar.

Set to premier at the Geneva Motor Show, the as-of-yet unnamed vehicle is the first of its ultra-limited series production vehicles under the newly formed Italdesign Automobili Speciali brand. The aggressive silhouette looks part Lamborghini and part Koenigsegg, with a dramatic front end, rear spoiler, diffuser and more, asserting its purpose as a machine built for speed. The carbon fiber body sits on top of a carbon fiber modular chassis, with a 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine providing motivation that will clear 62 mph in just 3.2 seconds. Built for enthusiasts and collectors, the ultra limited vehicle will be limited to only 5 examples.
