Mostly known as a manufacturer of minimalist watches and clocks, Instrmnt might seem an unlikely candidate to throw its hat into the umbrella market. But when you consider that it has already made some nice leather watch straps, the hand-stitched leather grip on the Instrmnt R-Series Umbrella begins to make a lot of sense.

Designed with subtle aesthetic nods to the Instrmnt City Bike, the R-Series Umbrella’s lightweight hollow handle of machined aluminum connects to its Japanese fabric canopy with a unique threaded metal keeper at the canopy tips. This high quality umbrella is currently available in two different models: sandblasted gunmetal with a tan leather handle and grey canopy, and sandblasted silver with a black leather handle and black canopy.
