Hublot has introduced the Big Bang Unico Golf Orange Carbon, a fully mechanical golf watch. While most golf watches today are digital, this model follows on the heels of the Big Bang Unico Golf, introduced in 2017 in partnership with golf champion Dustin Johnson. The Swiss-made watch lets you keep track of your score over 18 holes through three apertures that track the hole, the number of shots on the current hole, and the cumulative score. The 45mm watch features the Hublot MHUB1580 automatic movement cased in lightweight orange carbon.
There is charm along with function to the new Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf Orange Carbon. Activate the shot-counting feature by pushing in the yellow putter located at 2 o’clock, which also moves the stroke counter in the aperture at 3 o’clock. A putter-shaped pusher located at 4 o’clock resets the shot tracker to zero and advances the hole indicator in the 9 o’clock aperture. The cumulative score is displayed in an aperture at 6 o’clock. When the round is over, you can reset the displays to zero via an 8 o’clock pusher, which can be locked by rotating it 45 degrees, preventing a mid-round accidental reset. The Unico Golf Orange Carbon is skeletonized, meaning you can see every intricate operation as the moving parts smoothly engage. It weighs less than 100 grams, has a 72-hour power reserve, and is water-resistant to 100 meters. The Hublot Big Bang Unico Golf Orange Carbon is limited to 100 pieces.
