Few things are more American than pure power. Refinement is for other countries. In the US, we do power extremes; no other American-made product represents that extreme like the hyper-exotic cars modified by Hennessey. Hennessey decided to go further and work with Franch Atelier Skeleton Concept to create a truly unique watch starting with a Rolex Daytona. Skeleton Concept, like Hennessey, takes great watches and customizes them to the extreme. The chronograph is powered by a Rolex Caliber 4130 with a case that is machined 24 hours a day for 30 days resulting in a perfectly clear sapphire crystal case that enables owners to see the internal mechanism from any angle. A skeletonized dial design offers a clear view of the watch’s movement in action, similar to the see-through engine cover of the Hennessey Venom F5. Each sub-dial on the chronograph is reimagined using gold accents, drawing attention to its small-seconds, 30-minute counter, and 12-hour counter functions. Additionally, the watch sports a modified bezel of carbon fiber to echo the construction of the F5.
Given that the watch has been created specifically for Venom F5 hypercar owners ensures it will only increase in value, probably exponentially. Only 24 Hennessey Venom F5s Coupes will be produced, and 30 F5s in total, resulting in an equally limited amount of this special chronograph. While this exceptional watch calibrates up to 400 km/h, the car it is designed to complement reaches 483 km/h (300 mph) on 1,817 horsepower. The cost of ownership is $200,000, and the purchase of a very limited $3 million hypercar.
