The cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, alongside producer Kevin Feige, shared the film’s trailer with the public just several hours ago at the Comic-Con Experience in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Director James Gunn gave the go-ahead to release the trailer today after canceling its prior release date in July. It was the first look at the trailer for the final installment of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy.
The trailer signaled what’s to come in the film while leaving fans in edge-of-their-seats anticipation of what will occur in the final film. Some of the most captivating elements include Gamora working alongside the Ravagers with heartbreaking news for Peter Quill. The trailer also introduces the next round of enemies for the Guardians. It implies a lot of emotion, including some sadness and opportunities for triumph.
Chris Pratt returns as Peter Quill, with Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Vin Diesel as Groot, and Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon. Zoe Saldaña will return as Gamora as well, but it’s technically a different Gamora than the one from the first two movies. The trailer also provides a first look at Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, who has been tasked with destroying the Guardians.
While the just-released trailer leaves fans anticipating Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3, it does assure them the film will hit theaters on May 5, 2023. For now, viewers can get a fix of their favorite characters via the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, now available via Disney+.
