After spending the better part of three decades at Sennheiser, headphone engineer Alex Grell recently founded his own company, Grell Audio, and the new Grell TWS/1 In-Ear Headphones is the first product of this new endeavor. Grell’s goal was to produce a pair of in-ear headphones that would provide a personalized listening experience. The result is a stunning sound signature for digitally connected listeners, with a combination of meticulous attention to detail, German design, and high-end technology. These in-ear headphones are true wireless to allow complete freedom of movement.
What’s more, the Grell TWS/1 In-Ear Headphones feature SoundID for unprecedented audio clarity. Grell says a sound profile is as unique as a fingerprint. To that end, SoundID moves away from the traditional one-size-fits-all approach, effectively personalizing sound. Grell’s TWS/1 In-Ear Headphones, SoundID smart algorithms, and machine learning evolve over time. Not only that but since SoundID’s Advanced Parametric EQ is built-in, there are also infinite ways to create custom presets. The company promises that SoundID’s intuitive adjustments provide an unmatched level of clarity, personalization, and detail.
Additionally, Grell’s TWS/1 In-Ear Headphones provide Bluetooth connectivity. They are compatible with iOS, Android, tablets, and laptops. There is also a built-in voice assistant, a glass touch field on each earbud to allow gesture commands and active noise cancellation (ANC). The earbuds hold a charge for six to eight hours, while the charging case is good for four or more full charges—up to 34 hours of listening time with the ANC on and up to 45 hours with the ANC off.
