The 1.2-inch AMOLED display makes it easier than ever to read data underwater, while its sapphire crystal screen and fire-reinforced ocean-bound plastic case ensure durability in the harshest conditions. Built for serious divers, the Garmin Descent G2 supports multiple dive modes, including single and multi-gas, closed-circuit rebreather, and freediving. It even features an in-dive 3-axis compass and a Big Numbers Mode that highlights the most critical data at a glance. For freedivers, there’s dynamic apnea mode, apnea alerts, and a velocity chart to track every movement.

But the Descent G2 isn’t just for diving—it also shines as a land-based training tool. With 100+ preloaded sports apps, advanced training insights, and Garmin’s full suite of health features, including heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, blood oxygen levels, and stress management, it’s built for high performance in and out of the water. Add in Garmin Pay, GPS, and multi-GNSS support; it has everything an adventurer needs. The Descent G2, priced at $700, is available now through Garmin’s website.
