FILSON has long been a name synonymous with a laid back, yet stylish aesthetic and its latest collaboration in the form of the FILSON x Tenkara Rod Co. Fishing Rod Package is no exception.
FILSON utilizes its 100-year heritage of simple design using durable, performance-tested materials to combine with Tenkara’s equally detail-oriented yet classic products for this limited edition piece.
The rod’s 10.5-foot chartreuse line is handcrafted out of a single strand with a 3mm nickel allow tippet ring. A winding line spool is specially designed for Tenkara rods to be just big enough to allow for simple and fast winding. The notches on the spool allow for flies to be easily attached while a foam core helps dry the line when needed or keeps it floating.
The rod also comes equipped with 3 of Tenkara’s best hand-tied flies and a 30-meter spool of 5x tippet made by Rio.
