British watchmaker Farer has just launched its Titanium Series Aqua Compressor dive watches, a collection consisting of four handsome new timepieces. With this launch, Farer is again supporting the marine conservation charity Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust, which helps to protect the fragile state of Scottish Hebridean sealife through its program of research. The watchmaker raised £22,500 with its first series and with this new release of the Titanium Series Aqua Compressors the company aims to hit a target of £50,000.

The Farer Titanium Series Aqua Compressor collection is powered by the Swiss-made SELLITA SW200-1 Elaboré Non-Date Movement. This is a rare piece from SELLITA, in that it features no ‘ghost date’ within the mechanics to make this 100 percent functional for a diver’s needs. All four watches boast 300-meter water resistance and a 41mm case made of marine-grade titanium.

The first in this new series is the Leven Ocean Titanium, an Aqua Compressor automatic with an ocean blue sunray dial against the original Leven’s burnt orange 20-minute marker inner bezel. Oversized dive hands contrast with the dial – burnished steel for hours and burnt orange for minutes – both infilled in natural finish Super-LumiNova to give maximum clarity. The Leven II Titanium boasts a sleek silver sunray dial with Farer’s characteristic oversized dive hands in contrasting colors accenting the dial. The outer unidirectional bezel under the multi-layer anti-reflective crystal is finished in silk matte black with overprinted white numerals, and a 20-minute detailed scale for decompression times is highlighted in burnt orange.

The Hecla II Titanium deep blue dial is micro-engraved with Farer’s signature submersible wave design, framed by a halo of pure white Super-LumiNova. Surrounding the floating dial is the unidirectional internal rotating bezel, finished in navy blue and quickly adjusted with the second screw-down crown. The navy blue sweep second hand is tipped with sky blue Super-LumiNova for contrast. Finally, the Endeavour Titanium II is designed for function, with its light-absorbing matte black dial and tough Titanium grade II compressor case. The dial is framed by an updated minute track which is punctuated with refined steel markers, infilled with pure white Super-LumiNova for maximum afterglow.
