UK-based watchmaker Farer has released its latest creation, the Carnegie Chronograph Sport to go alongside its existing Chronograph Sport collection. The Carnegie is a three-register chronograph that feels slightly retro in execution, but it maintains the unique personality of a Farer timepiece. The base of the dial is matte teal in color with recessed sub-dials done in complementary sunray blue. The bezel, which is made of ceramic, gets the same dark blue color with an etched tachymeter. It is mounted on a brushed marine-grade 316L stainless steel case that measures 41mm in diameter, making the Farer Carnegie a good size for readability without compromising on comfort. The hands and hour markers are contrasted against the cool blue tones with touches of red, yellow, and orange.
Under its sapphire crystal display caseback is the Sellita SW510 BH Elaboré grade manual movement with an above-average 58-hour power reserve. The bespoke Farer monogram checkered pattern has been intricately customized on the high-end bridge and looks stunning alongside the perlé finishing and blue screws. That same Farer branding has also gone into the bronze cap on the crown. The Farer Carnegie Chronograph Sport is finished with a leather strap, though a steel bracelet is also available.
