The Emory Porsche 356 RSR is a hot-rod for the 21st century, equipped with 393 hp and modeled after the 1960 Porsche 356B T5 Coupe. The power comes from the Emory-Rothsport twin-turbo Outlaw-4 2.4-liter boxer engine, two Garrett GT28R ball-bearing turbos, and a G50/03 five-speed manual transmission.
The lightweight (1,950 pounds) sports car features hand-crafted aluminum nose, rear bodywork, deck lid, and bonnet. The car’s been built with air management features including louvers, front-fender standoffs, cooling ducts with stainless mesh grilles, and rear fenders with intercooler air inlets. Rocker panels are modified from the Porsche 911 while the side and quarter windows are made of Plexiglas.
Though street-legal, this car will have you feeling like you’re on a racetrack. The interior features include a MOMO steering wheel, Porsche 917-influenced gearshift, adjustable pedals, a quick-release MOMO competition harness, a roll cage, and fiberglass dash caps and footboards.
