Jack Yao, MIT graduate, and Mobile Pixels co-founder has created a Kickstarter to support his latest creation and rendition of the popular DUEX portable dual-screen laptop accessory. The DUEX Max is the fourth Kickstarter from Yao, but the campaign has already far exceeded Kickstarter contribution goals. The DUEX Max has corrected and enhanced the DUEX, with features that are sure to excite multi-taskers and entrepreneurs.
This is an upgraded version of the popular DUEX system. This portable device transforms any laptop into a dual-screen, perfect for multitasking. Mobile, removable, and lightweight, the DUEX Max can deliver high-definition and quality imaging. It easily connects to any laptop using a small but strong magnet system. The additional screen is a 14.1-inch display and boasts an 85% screen-to-body ratio. The secondary screen comes in multiple color options, including gray, red, blue, and green, and displays high-quality imaging in 1080P or FHD. Plus, the DUEX Max is designed to be energy-efficient to avoid unnecessary power draws from the laptop battery. The DUEX Max is made of durable aluminum, able to withstand wear and tear. Buyers can also purchase additional accessories to make multitasking a breeze. Available options include a kickstand, extra magnets, a privacy screen filter, mouse, and keyboard.
