Titanium normally stops at a dive watch’s case; the DOXA SUB 300 Ti5 Clive Cussler carries Grade 5 titanium through the bezel, crown, caseback, and a newly developed two-level dial. The 300-piece edition is the fourth watch connecting DOXA with the late novelist and marine explorer.

Two superimposed titanium plates form the dial. Laser-cut apertures in the upper layer expose Super-LumiNova-filled hour markers below, adding depth without disturbing the SUB 300’s direct underwater layout. Black hands frame the oversized orange minute hand, while a date window remains at 3 o’clock.

The elliptical case measures 42.5mm by 45mm and 13.4mm thick. It retains DOXA’s patented unidirectional decompression bezel and 300-meter water resistance, but omits a helium escape valve. Inside, a COSC-certified top-grade Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement runs at 4Hz and delivers a 38-hour power reserve. A black quick-release tropical rubber strap and titanium pin buckle keep weight down.
Each numbered caseback carries the NUMA emblem, and part of the proceeds supports Cussler’s National Underwater and Marine Agency. The SUB 300 Ti5 collection is available now for $3,390, limited to 300 examples worldwide.
