From its humble beginnings as a NATO-white, single cab battered 110 farm pickup truck from Spain, the Commonwealth Classics 1990 Land Rover Defender 110 – Georgetown was born. Thanks to a full rebuild, this classic Land Rover has been given a modern twist. Under the hood lies a 200Tdi four-cylinder diesel engine with an AlliSport uprated intercooler and a variable geometry turbo. You’ll also find Bilstein springs and shocks, a short shift mechanism, a high low transfer case with center locking differential, and an LT77 five-speed manual transmission.

The dark charcoal gray cabin, air conditioning, and bespoke Marshall inset Bluetooth speaker — courtesy of Unique Masterpieces in Portugal — are just a few of the interior features that make this rugged beast more comfortable. Many of the interior components feature black leather including the center console, dashboard, and door. The seats are finished with classic checkered stitching. The spacious cabin is mounted on Goodyear Wrangler 235/85/16 tires with the spare placed behind the cab in a black rubber-lined bed under the protection of a custom tonneau cover fit in place by pull-snaps. Each of those elements give this custom Defender a unique spin that’s built upon the cornerstone of Land Rover’s timeless design.
