Citizen, the renowned watchmaker with a legacy of innovation, has just released its latest timepiece, the Tsuki-yomi A-T Collection. Designed to captivate the modern man who appreciates both precision and style, this trio of watches introduces the world to the first-ever fully analog moonphase caliber for solar watches.
At the heart of the Tsuki-yomi A-T Collection lies the groundbreaking Eco-Drive caliber H874. What sets this movement apart is its unparalleled moonphase accuracy, maintained through atomic timekeeping. By receiving signals from radio transmissions, the caliber calculates the moon’s phase daily and autonomously adjusts the moonphase indicator at six o’clock. Moreover, it features a north-south shift, accommodating moonphase variations based on the viewer’s hemisphere. This exceptional caliber boasts an astonishing accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month.
Fueling this technological marvel is the Eco-Drive movement, drawing power from any light source and capable of running in low-power mode for up to two-and-a-half years. The H874 caliber is also equipped with a multi-band radio receiver, synchronizing with atomic clocks to ensure unwavering accuracy.
The Tsuki-yomi A-T collection combines innovation with aesthetics, featuring a titanium case adorned with Citizen’s Duractect coating for enhanced scratch resistance. Available in three dial options – blue, silver, and deep red, the latter complemented by a black DLC-coated bezel – each watch in this collection retails at $850.
