One of the lightest XC bikes on the market, the Lux weighs less than 2000 grams — an exceptional feat considering its full suspension platform. In fact, the suspension system on the Lux is one of its most impressive features. Employing a unique “Triple Phase Suspension” concept, the bike provides sensitivity at the start of the stroke, stability through the middle of the stroke, and progressive power at the end of the stroke. In addition to this featherweight suspension, the Lux reduces weight by employing a wholesale reduction of metal total across the frame, incorporating features such as a 8.2-gram chain stay protector and a 4.6-gram chain guide to create a bike that weighs less than half the weight of its Canyon predecessors.
