To celebrate 75 years of audio innovation, French hi-fi house Cabasse has launched its most audacious system yet: the LA SPHERE EVO. Priced at a reality-warping $135,000 per pair, these spherical sonic saucers look like they belong on the set of Dune, but they’re built for your living room—or your lair, if you’re into global domination and audiophile streaming.

The LA SPHERE EVO is a fully self-contained system—no external amps, DACs, or rats’ nests of cables. Each orb houses four built-in amplifiers (over 10,000 watts of RMS power), a TCA tri-coaxial driver made from aramid fiber, and dual 12″ HELD woofers that deliver deep, clean bass without shaking your walls off their foundations. The frequency range? A ridiculous 14Hz to 27kHz. If your music has it, you’ll hear it—and probably feel it in your sternum.

Setup is plug-and-play, thanks to onboard microphones that automatically handle room calibration. You can control it all from the Cabasse StreamCONTROL app or integrate it seamlessly with your Roon-ready system.

Every pair is built in-house in Brittany, France, and comes with a numbered anniversary plaque. It’s not just a speaker—it’s a statement. The speakers will be available in the third quarter of 2025.
