While whiskey connoisseurs have their own particular favorites, most can agree that nothing comes close to a dedicated tasting session at their distillery of choice. Fans of Kentucky Straight Bourbon are likely to be thrilled by the latest announcement from Buffalo Trace, with an upcoming tasting session set in the deepest wilderness of Wyoming’s heartland.
The tasting experience, created in collaboration with Buffalo Field Campaign, seeks to capture the spirit of the American frontier and the interplay between nature and whiskey distillation. Taking place in a custom-built selection of glass-walled tasting rooms, the Buffalo Trace Perfectly Untamed experience invites guests to step away from the modern world and savor the whiskey.
Whiskey lovers eager to attend the Buffalo Trace Perfectly Untamed event must first reserve a spot via the online booking form, which provides confirmation and details about the exact location. To finalize the booking, a $500 donation to Buffalo Field Campaign is required, with the money earmarked for protecting America’s last wild bison.
For the Buffalo Trace Perfectly Untamed event, guests can expect a two-hour private tour from Buffalo Trace’s VIP Visitor Lead and Bourbon Hall of Fame inductee Freddie Johnson. Features cocktails and stories from generations of distilling history, and includes an exploration of the rich history of Buffalo Trace Distillery.
Each guest will receive a $1,000 travel stipend to cover accommodation and travel costs, with a limited number of reservations available. Bookings open today, November 13, and the event is scheduled to take place between Friday, May 1, 2026, and Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
