Foldable bikes have become increasingly popular for city commuters looking for a bike to take on the train and for camping expeditions in the wild. The upcoming release of the Brompton G Line is the latest compact bike from the manufacturer, taking its carefully considered design approach to new heights.

With an entirely new frame design over its predecessor, which incorporates 20″ wheels and wide handlebars, the Brompton G Line bike optimizes space when folded away while still giving the feel of a full-size bike when in use. The level of engineering is impressive, with a range of features that compare favorably to standard bicycles.

The Brompton G Line bike has dependable hydraulic disc brakes that handle all terrain and weather conditions. It also has a Shimano Alfine hub eight-gear system for total control. Wide platform pedals offer both grip and comfort, while the left-hand pedal can be adjusted when folding the bike to make it even more compact.

The new Brompton Ergonomic Grips on the wider handlebars provide additional cushioning, while the lightweight saddle features a carbon base to minimize vibrations and pressures. There’s even a handy mount, complemented with loops, for stowing luggage or adding lights for nighttime riding

With the versatile Brompton Electric app available as a dashboard for light management, distance tracking, and many other features, the Brompton G Line bike promises to be an exciting new compact bicycle when it launches in 2025.
