Brew Watches is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and the only way it knows how is by dialing up the design and finally going Swiss. The new Metric Manual Wind is the brand’s most refined release to date, and it’s proof that Brew isn’t just playing in the micro brand sandbox anymore—they’re redrawing the lines altogether. Slim, sleek, and powered by a hand-wound Swiss movement, this milestone piece merges Brew’s signature playfulness with serious horological weight.

At first glance, it’s unmistakably a Metric. The familiar retro-modern case is back in stainless steel with a svelte 36mm width and a razor-thin 8.5mm profile, making it the thinnest Brew ever. Available in deep blue or classic black, the dial features polished “mountain top” indices that catch light like a prism and pops of color that remind you Brew still likes to have fun. But inside, things get elevated. Gone are the Miyota or Seiko guts—instead, the Metric Manual Wind runs on a Swiss-made Sellita SW210, a hand-wound movement with a 42-hour reserve and subtle finishing, including Brew’s wordmark etched into the mainplate.

It’s not just a flex—it’s a statement. Brew is signaling that it’s ready to go beyond quirky limited editions and build watches that are as technically sound as they are visually distinct. With only 125 pieces in each color and a price tag of $875, the Metric Manual Wind is both a celebration of the past and a teaser of what’s next.
