Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever | Official Trailer just dropped, featuring Angela Bassett (as Queen Ramonda), Letitia Wright (as Shuri), Winston Duke (as M’Baku), Danai Gurira (as Okoye), and the Dora Milaje— including Florence Kasumba, who fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers after King T’Challa’s death. Writer/director Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther: Wakanda Forever finds Wakandans embracing the next chapter as the heroes enlist Lupita Nyong’o (as the War Dog Nakia) and Martin Freeman (as Everett Ross) to forge a new path for the kingdom. The sequel to Coogler’s 2018 megahit Black Panther takes us to Wakanda, where the community grieves the loss of King T’Challa (the late Chadwick Boseman as, the movie’s previous Black Panther).
With Chadwick Boseman’s death in 2020, either Wright or Nyong’o seems the most likely to become the new Black Panther. New characters in this chapter include Tenoch Huerta (Namor the Submariner). Namor is a mutant who rules over the underwater kingdom of Talocan. Dominique Thorne (as Riri Williams/Ironheart )— the teen genius inventor who creates an advanced suit of armor. Marvel Studios’ Black Panther: Wakanda Forever | Official Trailer – YouTube doesn’t give away much other than the film will be an emotional and visually stunning spectacle that will honor Chadwick Boseman’s legacy. Without a doubt, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will likely be one of 2022’s biggest hit movies, which will hit theaters on November 11th.
