Bentley Motors is going electric, but not before giving its W12 engine a proper send-off with the new Mulliner Batur. The Bentley Mulliner Batur is a limited-edition GT coupe that houses the company’s most powerful engine in its history and showcases the design aesthetic for the near future.

Under the hood of the Bentley Mulliner Batur, the 6.0-liter W12 received a new intake, larger intercoolers, and upgraded turbochargers. As a result, the Mulliner Batur produces 730-hp and 737 lb.-ft of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The big coupe sprints from zero to 60 in 3.5-seconds before hitting a top speed of 208 mph.

Standard equipment includes four-wheel steering, torque vectoring, and electronically limited slip differential. Active air suspension and electric active anti-roll control system offer sporty handling. Stopping power is managed by ten-piston caliper brakes at the front and four-piston at the back.

The Bentley Mulliner Batur exterior boasts a new, edgier look with a redesigned front grille. Its familiar dual-round headlights have been replaced with narrow, sharp LEDs. Its overall shape is cleaner but more aggressive, giving the impression of an ultra-luxury muscle car riding on 22-inch wheels. Only 18 Bentley Mulliner Batur examples are being built, all of which have been sold (unsurprisingly). Each model will have a unique interior due to its extensive range of customizable options, including 3D-printed 18K gold console controls and traditional wood trim.
