Swiss timepiece maker Bell & Ross has announced the upcoming release of a modern take on their classic BR 05 model. This newest addition to the collection features the BR-05 Chronograph. The Chronograph model, a first in the collection, retains the solidly integrated case and bracelet of its predecessor, the BR-05 released in 2019, but adds a familiar chronograph dial layout. The new watch’s retro-shaped counters (chronograph minute counter at 9 o’clock and small seconds at 3 o’clock) are between the 12 and 6 on the dial, which measures 42mm in diameter, up from the 40mm of the debut collection.
Bell & Ross finishes the new BR 05 Chronograph with flat satin-polished surfaces and polished bevels. The dials are extremely legible and are laid out for maximum readability under any condition. The Chronograph is available with either a blue or black sunray dial and offers a choice of an integrated steel bracelet, or a blue or black rubber strap. The end result is either a dressy or sporty look, depending on which strap is chosen. Either way, this watch makes a dramatic statement.
