In 2017, Bell & Ross took the watch industry by storm when they introduced the revolutionary BR 03-92 Diver, with a square case. Since that time, they have built on that model’s foundation and unveiled several additional design themes, expanding the original offering, which included orange, blue, and black colorways. Now, the French watchmakers Bell & Ross have introduced the next addition to the collection with the release of the Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze.
The Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze’s ergonomically shaped, satin-brushed case, measuring 42 mm in diameter, is water-resistant to 300 meters, and is made of the bronze alloy CuSn8, which combines 92% copper and 8% tin. This material is a nod to the history of diving, as it was used for deep-sea helmets and naval construction. The calibrated bezel for setting dive times, also made of the bronze alloy, rotates in one direction and has an inset ring made of anodized red aluminum; its 60-minute scale features a luminescent dot at 12 o’clock for orientation. The red aluminum bezel echoes the color of the red-lacquered dial, whose gilded, applied hour markers and hands are finished with Super-LumiNova inserts. The limited-edition Bell & Ross (Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Diver Black Matte – IMBOLDN) BR 03-92 Diver Red Bronze release will include only 500 pieces.
