Bell & Ross has just released a new addition to its BR 03-92 Diver series, the Diver Brown Bronze. Prior to this, B&R had introduced black, green, blue, and red variations of the watch, so it makes sense that the new version is in bronze with a brown dial and bezel ring. Made of satin-finished and polished CuSn8 bronze, an alloy combining 92% Copper and 8% Tin, the case and bezel have great resistance to corrosion. In addition, a special patina will develop over time making each piece unique to its owner.
The BR 03-92 Diver Brown Bronze is water-resistant to 300 meters and its iconic 42mm x 12.05mm square case is equipped with a unidirectional rotating bronze bezel with a 60-minute scale and brown anodized aluminum ring. The four corners of the case have exposed screw tops that blend with their surroundings. On the flip-side is a solid stainless-steel case back, which has been engraved with both a deep-sea diver’s helmet and the unique number of each limited edition.
Protecting the brown dial with rose gold-plated applied indices and hands is a flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. For optimal legibility in the dark, the hands and indices are filled with Super-LumiNova. Powering the Bell & Ross 03-92 Diver Brown Bronze the self-winding mechanical movement, caliber BR-CAL.302, with 25 jewels and 28,800 Vph. It is based on the Sellita SW300-1 with some custom modifications and the addition of a date function. The power reserve on the timepiece can last up to 38 hours when fully wound. The watch is a limited edition of 999 pieces.
