Bang & Olufsen continues to redefine the audio landscape with the launch of the Beosystem 9000c music system, a fusion of timeless design and modern technology. This innovative system pairs the iconic Beosound 9000 CD player from the 1990s with Bang & Olufsen’s state-of-the-art Beolab 28 speakers, delivering an unparalleled listening experience.
In a testament to Bang & Olufsen’s commitment to longevity, the Beosystem 9000c is the second project in the recreated classics series, showcasing the brand’s dedication to creating products that stand the test of time. The brand rounded up 200 pre-loved Beosound 9000 CD/radio systems and wholly refurbished them to pair with the new technology of B&O’s Beolab 28 wireless speakers. Each Beosound 9000 CD player has undergone a rigorous restoration process at the company’s factory in Struer, Denmark, ensuring that every component meets Bang & Olufsen’s exacting standards.
Building on the original design of the Beosound 9000, Bang & Olufsen’s design team has inverted the color scheme to create a modern aesthetic that pays homage to the iconic CD player’s heritage. The Beolab 28 speakers feature Natural Aluminum lamellas paired with a Cosmic Black aluminum base, creating a visually stunning contrast.
Designed by renowned Industrial Designer David Lewis, the Beosound 9000c embodies Bang & Olufsen’s philosophy of longevity and innovation. With its mechanical movements and motorized glass lid, it will delight users with its seamless functionality and elegant design.
The Beosystem 9000c music system offers more than just exceptional sound quality—it’s a sensory experience. From the moment you switch it on, the Beolab 28 speakers captivate with their magical curtain movement, setting the stage for an immersive listening experience.
Available in a limited edition of 200 units, the Beosystem 9000c is a collector’s dream. It combines heritage craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. The 9000c is available for purchase starting today.
