One’s quality of sleep significantly impacts one’s quality of life. But help is on the way for those who suffer from poor quality of sleep. Banala launched its third successful crowdfunding campaign for Banala Sense in June. The Banala Sense is a smart mini-speaker integrated with isochronic sound technology that activates each stage of the sleep cycle. According to Banala, between 33 and 50 percent of adults experience insomnia in their lifetime. Banala’s founder, Kridsakon Yaomanee says he used his experience in brain-computer interface research to create Banala Sense. This device uses isochronic tones and sound frequency mixes to help users reduce stress, relax, and ultimately improve their sleep. Banala has already delivered over 3000 devices following two previously successful Kickstarter campaigns. This success inspired the Banala team to continue innovation.

Banala sense uses isochronic tones at regular intervals. The Smart Sleep-Cycle-Inducing System starts with Theta Isochronic sound to help clear the mind. Then, the Theta wave puts users into a deep sleep, and the Delta wave ensures rest. Theta and Delta wavelengths, and a combination of other frequencies, emit interchangeably to imitate a regular sleep cycle. Additionally, the Banala Sense can use a Bluetooth mini-speaker so that the user can blend the isochronic sound with their favorite music. The company points out that the device also offers focus, relaxation, and feel-good modes to transform a mood. Banala Sense is currently available for backing on Indiegogo.
