Audi has unveiled the second generation of its electric mountain bike, the Audi eMTB 2.0, marking a bold continuation of its push into high-performance e-mobility. Built in collaboration with Italian motorcycle and e-bike maker Fantic, the limited-edition eMTB carries design inspiration from the Dakar-winning RS Q e-tron, combining motorsport DNA with cutting-edge trail capability.

Priced at $5,850, the new model upgrades key components while lowering the cost from the original. Riders get a SRAM GX Eagle Transmission AXS electronic derailleur, SRAM XX SL Eagle 12-speed cassette, and massive 220mm/203mm EPTA STAGE brake rotors for serious stopping power. A full-suspension setup with Öhlins TTX22m.2 rear coil shock and RXF38 m.2 fork delivers 180mm of travel, ensuring this e-bike thrives on punishing off-road terrain.

The lightweight aluminum frame features a balanced geometry for relaxed control, aided by a mixed-wheel setup—29” wheels up front and 27.5” at the rear—offering agility and rollover stability in one package. Powered by a 720Wh battery and a Brose S-MAG motor producing up to 90Nm of torque, the eMTB offers four assist levels (Eco, Tour, Sport, Boost) with ranges of between 12 and 90 miles, depending on terrain and rider input.

With its motorsport-inspired livery, robust suspension, and aggressive component set, the Audi eMTB 2.0 is more than just an e-bike—it’s a statement of design and performance heritage. Deliveries are expected in September 2025 via Audi Genuine Accessories.
