German luxury car manufacturer Audi has recently made strides into electric vehicles and has turned its attention to off-road mountain biking with the new AUDI x Fantic EMTB e-Bike. Fantic Motor is an Italian company manufacturing motorcycles and e-bikes since 1968.
Unsurprisingly, this new e-Bike delivers the same top-tier ergonomic design and high-performance capabilities while reflecting the manufacturers’ commitment to sustainable engineering.
Powered by Fantic, the AUDI x Fantic EMTB e-Bike draws inspiration for its ultra-stylish frame design from the streamlined body of the Audi RS Q e-tron Dakar racer, its flagship electric quad hybrid. This bike has a stunning combination of grays and blacks, accentuated by vibrant red highlights across the seat, frame, and wheels. It is designed for riding on any terrain and delivers an exceptionally powerful motor capable of pushing through the most challenging mud and steepest inclines.
Powered by a 720Wh, Fantic Lithium-ion 36V battery, the AUDI x Fantic EMTB e-Bike sports a 250W Brose S MG motor capable of 90 Nm of torque, with a range of customizable modes tailored to different riding scenarios. Accessible via the control unit on the handlebar, these assistance modes cover Eco, Tour, Sport, and Boost, allowing riders to switch up their riding style in a second.
With full Ohlins suspension incorporating a two-chamber system for a comfortable ride and the Audi e-bike Braking F.I.R.S.T system for exceptional stopping power, the AUDI x Fantic EMTB e-Bike is a fittingly futuristic model from a manufacturer known for being ahead of the curve. Deliveries for the e-Bike will begin in early summer at a cost of $9,795.
