Audemars Piguet has crafted some of the most sought after timepieces in recent memory, with the Royal Oak line proving to be a massive success. This continues with the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked. This particular watch, as the name suggests, features a brilliantly crafted open display, in which all the gears and internal elements can be seen through the clear face. However, the internal workings of this particular watch look even more beautiful due to all the extra gears required for the varying features of the watch.

The watch has an especially thin 9.9mm thickness and is built from black ceramic with a titanium caseback. Touches of rose gold are used to accent around the brushed black 41mm case. In total, 374 components and 38 jewels are used to craft the interior of the watch, which, beyond the hour, minute, and second hands, has a perpetual calendar that tells the exact date, day, week, month, and even the phases of the moon.
