The Little Car Company builds 3D scanned miniature replicas of high-end, iconic classic vehicles – basically the coolest toy cars you’ve ever seen. They originally built a Bugatti Type 35 to celebrate Bugatti’s 110th anniversary called the Bugatti Baby. Now, The Little Car Company has announced another big surprise in a small package. It is called the Aston Martin DB5 Junior, and it’s a 595-pound replica of a 1963 Aston Martin DB5. This DB5 Junior is fully-electric powered by a five kW battery making nearly seven horsepower capable of delivering speeds up to 30 mph for a range of 20 miles. The DB5 Junior is built using an aluminum honeycomb chassis to keep the car light.

Designed to be a replica of a British icon, the DB5 Junior wears Silver Birch paint, with 10-inch wire wheels and ventilated disc brakes. Features include working headlights, brake lights, indicators, horn, full leather interior, and a functional trunk for storage. The dashboard even has working Smiths gauges like the original Aston Martin. The suspension is a period-correct scale version of the 60s production car. The Little Car Company also offers a DB5 Vantage Junior model that doubles the power to 10 kW. The Vantage Junior offers a lighter carbon-fiber body with a second battery pack and a limited-slip differential. Production of the DB5 Junior is set to begin in 2021 with deliveries scheduled over the next two years.
