Astell&Kern has recently revealed their newest, high-performing Astell&Kern AK HC3 Hi-Fi dual DAC cable, complete with innovative materials and technological advances that can be paired with a favorite pair of wired headphones. With the award-winning background of this digital audio manufacturer, music listeners, gamers, and employees who work from home can rejoice with this easy-to-connect adaptive cable, promising improved audio quality.
The new Astell&Kern AK HC3 is the latest iteration from the company’s popular AK HC1 DEC model. Built with ES9219MQ DAC chips made by ESS, the new connector features ultra-high-quality audio output, low power consumption, and high-fidelity sound. Additional sound fidelity is provided by the dual noise-shielded cables to process and send the digital audio signal. The DAC cable also pairs with microphone headsets, making the Astell&Kern AK HC3 ideal for gaming and video conferencing. Compatible with Windows, Apple products, tablets, and smartphones, the AK HC3 only requires a 3 or 4-pole 3.5 mm jack to connect. The cable relies on the connected device to draw power, so there is no need to recharge the battery.
Unlike prior models, the new Astell&Kern AK HC3 is compatible with iOS devices, and a specialized downloadable app allows Android users to adjust the volume easily. The lightweight cable is ultra-portable, weighing just 20 grams, and is made of durable aluminum. The new AK HC3 cable is available online and at select retailers. The price for the cable is $190.
