$799+

As the most powerful Mac mini ever, Apple’s latest Mac mini is up to five times faster than its predecessor.

The new Mac mini is equipped with whopping four Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports, which allows you to transfer data up to 40GB a second and connect to two 4K displays at once or one 5K display. It also has multiple other I/O options, including two USB-A ports, one HDMI 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, and audio jack. The new Mac mini also comes with the Apple T2 Security chip.

However, the price has also increased. Even the basic model, which has an 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, and 4-core i3 processor, comes in at $799 (which is the price of the new iPad Pro). And If you want to upgrade to 6-core i5 or i7 and more RAM or storage, you’re in MacBook or iMac territory. It all depends on what you want to achieve with these devices, but it looks like at least you’ll have options.

The new Mac mini can be ordered today and will be available on November 7th.
