Apple today announced the release of a new product that is unlike any in the company’s history — the first iPhone designed for professional level performance with the new iPhone 11 Pro.
The iPhone 11 Pro’s tri-camera offers the most notable professional-grade features, with its 12MP wide, ultrawide, and telephoto lenses able to capture professional-grade photographs. Video quality is every bit as advanced shooting 4K, 60 FPS videos. With a 4x optical zoom range, you can capture the microscopic details in portraits or the vast, panoramic landscapes all from one camera. Along with the robust hardware performance, Deep Fusion neural engine technology captures four images simultaneously, picking the best pixel quality and fusing them into one perfectly synthesized shot. Each of the three cameras also simultaneously captures video along with the front-facing selfie camera to provide videographers with several options between dynamically different videos to utilize in post-production.
To match its professional level aspirations, iPhone 11 Pro comes with either a 5.8-inch or 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR display, offering the highest pixel density of any Apple product. With a two million to one contrast ratio, 1200 nits of brightness, and 458 pixels per inch, the Pro’s image quality is on par with the Mac Book Pro’s display.
Even with its unparalleled performance, the Apple iPhone 11 Pro offers four more hours of battery life than the iPhone XS. The Pro model comes in midnight green, space gray, silver and gold finishes and both the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max will be available for purchase beginning September 20.
