The soon to be released Analogue Duo celebrates the long and rich history of the NEC video game platform. The Duo captures everything you need to play all your favorite games while adding a modern touch. It’s an all-in-one video game system, complete with a cartridge slot, controller port, and CD-ROM drive, meaning it’s compatible with all NEC game formats. Connect the way you want by syncing any wireless 8BitDo Bluetooth or 2.4g controller. No receivers are necessary and the Duo supports up to 4 players. Connect controllers via the original-like port or USB ports, too.
The FPGA hardware means core functionality of each NEC system built into the Duo. This is not an emulation system, rather it’s one that gives you the feel of those classic game systems. It features region-free compatibility for HuCARDS, TURBOCHIP, CD-ROM², SUPER CD-ROM² and ARCADE CD-ROM². There are 20 hours of battery life in the included 8BitDo TG16 Gamepad with 2.4g wireless receiver. The Analogue Duo will be launched in 2021 in limited quantities and will be available in black or white.
