A defining moment in Mercedes-Benz history, the Amalgam Collection Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupe” model replicates every detail in high-quality materials, featuring a silver-grey metallic finish. Taking “The Blue” chassis 00007/55 as its source, the 1:8-scale model is the result of over 4,000 hours of development and construction.

The Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupe” debuted in the 1950s, an era when fluid, ergonomic forms dominated the aesthetics of sports cars. These distinctive elements are painstakingly reproduced in the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupe,” along with a range of finishing touches, from the windscreen wipers to the interior seating and steering column.

Each part included with the Amalgam Collection Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupe” has been created from CAD data derived from a scan of the original chassis, in collaboration with the motoring company. Original drawings, along with archive photographs, have all been referenced to deliver the best possible results.

The resulting Amalgam Collection Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “Uhlenhaut Coupe” model is another superior entry to the modelmaker’s eclectic range, with a limited run of just 199 pieces for seasoned car fans and model collectors.
